Our third sailing on Regent. The event started out poorly, as at check in their computer system, they advised, was not functional, so the process could not begin. After a ninety-minute wait, the process began, slowly. We had booked a PH cabin, (the cabins on this ship are not large, this category gave us more space which was the reason for our selection) which was ready when we got aboard,

Dining rooms had repetitive menus for five months, the two specialty restaurants Prime 7 & Chartreuse never changed the menus. All dining rooms were chronically understaffed which meant long waits for food to be taken and then dishes cleared. Newly hired staff had little to no idea of what exactly they were responsible for - we repeatedly waved down staff for a refill of water and wine with our

We just returned from our inaugural, “all inclusive,”11-night cruise with Regent Seven Seas. There were six travelers in our party. Our journey was to the British Isles on the Navigator. The trip met but did not exceed our expectations, with a few minor and two major disappointments. Despite the few problems, we found this cruise to be enjoyable and close to a luxury experience. This was our

This was a cruise in celebration of forthcoming Golden Wedding and a birthday on board. We had selected this cruise because of recommendations from our friends how helpful they had found the crew with respect to special meals. We had sailed on one of the early voyages of the RSS Explorer in 2016 and found the service and cabin exceptional, catering for every need without any problems. On this

We selected this cruise initially because of the advertised stop at Papua New Guinea. Otherwise, we had previously visited almost all the other ports. The day before we boarded, we were advised by our travel agent that Regent had canceled the stop at Papua New Guinea. There were 3 or 4 different reasons going around among passengers as to why, although we never learned. The ship was very

Always remember that whatever you get for "free" is worth exactly what you pay for it. Internet service aboard the mariner is a signal case in point. Over the 22 days of this cruise, I think I got perhaps 10 minutes of semi-acceptable quality wifi/nternet acces. Slow, unreliable, unpredictable, unworkable and as frustrating as pushing a mule up a steep hill. And I don't think that those

I've just read a number of the reviews for this ship and can't quite believe that I was on the same ship as the other reviewers. We found the cruise, all 40 nights of it to be generally and overwhelmingly wonderful. The itinerary was brilliant. We travelled from Abu Dhabi to Miami, on the final two legs of the 2017 world cruise. There were some outstanding ports of call and barely any that I
